It's a Girl!!

And what a girl!

At 12:56pm on the 22nd of July, 2002, Katherine Elizabeth Haesler was born by a process with a fancy medical name but which I prefer to refer to as a "Katiectomy".

I got to see a bit more of the Katiectomy than I saw of the Patrictomy. It was a pretty gory affair, but you can't make an omlette without breaking eggs. At 4.39kg (9lb 11oz) Katie is quite an omlette, and was bound to break Em's eggs one way or another. So better to do it by appointment in a comfy private hospital with proper pain management I say.

As her father the objectivity of my opinion is dubious at best, still, it must be said that I have fathered (another) incredibly beautiful baby.
