What I do
I work for a small software consultancy called Softco Solutions. We do
custom client-server database systems. I mainly do analysis and programming
for back-end (server) processes. I mainly write in C and PERL, with a bit
of C++, Java and various dialects of SQL thrown in here and there for
good measure. We recently won the Telstra
Vendor of the Year Award.
I also system administer and provide tech support for a
small home computer network with a very demanding
user-base of three.
I am avidly watching and greatly enjoying the ABC's current
broadcast run of the classic BBC science-fiction series
Doctor Who.
I brew beer, collect Live Phish CD's
and I go to Prog Club once a month.
